Installation Tips
- It would be well to check the actual wall thickness before putting the item in to make sure the 5-1/4″ dimension is adequate.
- Place the Jamb into the opening and make certain that the Jamb is plumb and square.
- Secure with appropriately sized screws or nails into the wall structural layer.
- Put some expandable foam in the gaps between the jamb and the wall where it’s needed.
- Apply paint or veneer to the substrate as required to match either interior or exterior finishing techniques.
