MCN-023 4-9/16″ Reinforced Mull Post

The MCN-023 Reinforced Mull Post is a 4-9/16" vertical structural member designed for combined door and window systems. It connects and secures adjacent units (such as fixed windows, operable windows, doors, and sidelites), providing additional structural strength to ensure stability and safety for openings. The built-in LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) reinforcement significantly enhances load-bearing capacity and warp resistance.

Installation Tips

Level the Header Top and Bottom and mull post position before installing the Vinyl Header.
Secure mull post to top and bottom frames with appropriate sized screws.
Butt adjacent window/door units tightly to the post, seal any gaps with caulk.
The vertical members connecting the diagonal web members to the main web members shall be anchored to the frame structure in a manner to ensure proper load transfer.
After installation please ensure the post is plumb and the doors and windows open and close smoothly.
